Your Host
Arden Rankins has lived and traveled extensively in Alaska for over 30 years. Originally from British Columbia, she came to the Last Frontier in 1987 and fell in love with the adventurous spirit of the Alaskan people and the endless beauty of the state. Cooper Landing became her year-round residence in 1997 when she bought land after stumbling upon the area while on a camping trip.
Arden is an active community member and business owner. In addition to Kenai Lake Escape, Arden owns The Sunrise Inn— one of the only year-round restaurant and lodges in the area.
When not working, Arden enjoys gardening, riding her Harley, and spending time with her dogs— Jack and Hank Snow.
If you have questions about vacation opportunities, even if you end up staying elsewhere, please feel welcome to email or call Arden with any questions you might have. There's nothing better than asking a local who really knows the area for assistance.
It is her goal to make your once-in-a-lifetime trip, a trip to be followed by many more. Advice about fishing guides to local adventures is available!
